Western Isles Enterprise is the Economic Development Agency for the Western Isles. WIE is a part of the Highlands & Islands Enterprise Network which is a government funded agency. WIE are currently working with Community Partners to build a wireless broadband network to serve the areas of the Western Isles not served with broadband by the National Telecom companies.
